Map of Canada

Canada’s only officially French province, not to mention the largest by total land area, offers a treasure trove of experiences. Whether you choose to party it up in the cosmopolitan city of Montreal, stroll the streets of the only fortified city north of Mexico, or get into the wilderness for some skiing, hiking, or biking, Quebec has something for everyone.

Although the province stretches all the way from the Arctic tundra to the U.S border, most people only make it as far as Montreal and Quebec City. But venture out further, and there’s lots of places to explore. So, whether you’re looking to stay in a cabin with wolves peering in through your window, take a road trip to see some of Canada’s best fall colours, or partake in some of the country’s best whale watching tours, Quebec is a great place to add to your Canadian bucket list.
