Saskatchewan

Travel Guide

Map of Canada

Saskatchewan might be known for its flat prairie landscape, but it’s also home to thick boreal forest, wild badlands, more than 100,000 lakes and rivers, and some of the largest sand dunes in the world. Combine all of that with a total population of just over one million and you’ll find that there’s a lot of room to stretch your arms and breathe in that fresh air.  Although the province lacks big major cities, it more than makes up for it with unique attractions and cities that have that small-town vibe, yet are still home to cool museums and a flourishing food scene. So, if you’re looking for off-the-beaten-track nature, camping, hiking, canoeing, freshwater fishing, or horseback riding, Saskatchewan should be on your Canadian bucket list.
