The Windsor Arms Hotel Day Spa
Let’s kick off our list with one of my favourite places for a day of utter bliss and relaxation!
Housed in a boutique hotel, The Windsor Arms Hotel Day Spa is as opulent as it gets. With a baby grand piano and a harp to properly set the tone, this is the perfect place for enjoying a soothing spa day.
If you suffer from migraines, poor circulation, or simply unresolved stress, it’s highly recommended to book a Halotherapy session. Based on an ancient Greek therapeutic technique, this 45-minute spa experience occurs in a salt cave.
We recommend wearing loose-fitting clothing during your Salt Cave experience, although you can always request a robe if this is what you’ll be more comfortable in.
For an additional fee, you can always opt for add-ons like a sauna session or a dip in their pool after your Salt Cave experience.
- Address: 1214 Dundas St W, Toronto, ON M6J 1X5, Canada
- Opening Hours: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

You’ll also find a juice bar, two restaurants, 34 treatment rooms, and various types of water therapies to help you unplug from the daily grind before starting your treatment.
We’ve heard great things about the LI’TYA Kodo Body Treatment which uses Native Australian techniques. You can choose from 3 different types of aromatic oils to either detox, rejuvenate, or harmonize your body.
This spa is also known for its Swedish Massage, Infrared Sauna, and Oxygen Dome Facial which replicates the nutrients and conditions of pure forest air.

Your skin is thoroughly cleansed and exfoliated before the treatment and the technician will pay special attention to pressure points on the shoulders, scalp, and neck.

Offering the ideal setting for quality time with your best friends, the Othership Bathhouse is quite atypical since it features ice baths and saunas for a social spa experience! Unlike other spas, conversations are actually encouraged there so don’t expect a quiet atmosphere.
Othership regularly hosts group wellness sessions during which you’ll navigate both an ice bath and a sauna circuit. This spa is recommended by Forbes and Vogue – so you know you’re in for a good time!

Part of their Therapeutic Waters Circuit, this steam room provides a 100% humidity level to properly relax the body while toning the skin and increasing circulation. The perfect spa treatment for an afternoon of sheer relaxation, don’t you think?
Along with the popular Eucalyptus Steam Room, we’re huge fans of their infrared sauna and Hot Epsom Salt Pool which has a high magnesium content to reduce inflammation while improving sleep and focus. Park Hyatt Toronto Stillwater Spa
Okay, we’ll admit that the Stillwater Spa at the Park Hyatt Toronto has a higher price range, but if you’d like to splurge for a special occasion, this place certainly over-delivers!
Located in the chic Yorkville area, this spa has been open for over two decades now – although it was recently renovated in 2022. If you’re visiting in colder months, we recommend taking advantage of their exclusive Winter Experiences which features exclusive body treatments like the Northern Indulge. This hour-long experience consists of a deep-tissue massage, signature soak bath, and detox ritual.
The spa is also known for its body wraps, facials, and aromatherapy experiences. Be sure to stop by the lounge to enjoy freshly made madeleines, hot infusions, and fruit jellies.

The spa is also known for its Turkish Bath, but unfortunately, the steam chamber is under renovation until further notice, so we didn’t get to try it out.
People rave about their Sodashi Scalp Treatment where Sodashi mud is generously massaged to the scalp to release tension and pressure. This 15-minute treatment is only available as an add-on.

The spa menu is pretty extensive, with just about everything from body wraps to hot stone massages, mani-pedis, and reflexologies.

The Spa at The St. Regis
It’s pretty hard to beat the Spa at the St. Regis as far as the best spas in Toronto are concerned! Not only is this Canada’s highest luxury spa (it is located on the 31st floor after all), but it’s also amongst the most lavish. We’re talking golden accents, abundant marble, European quartz baths…the works!
Among its many treatments, this split-level urban oasis offers both bespoke and signature massages like the Flawless Garden Rose with granita body scrub or The 400, inspired by New York’s Gilded Age.
Designed to provide a sensorial experience, this luxurious face-and-body treatment combines an aromatherapeutic massage, Triple Active Facial, and a full-body scrub.
Be sure to allocate yourself some time to chill in the saltwater infinity pool which boasts spectacular views of the city skyline.

SpaZen Toronto
If you’re looking for a great spa experience without necessarily spending a small fortune, then you really can’t go wrong with SpaZen Toronto!
Offering regular packages and discounts, this spa is located at the Executive Hotel Cosmopolitan. Compared to the other spas on our list, this one is undeniably on the smaller side, but don’t let that deter you: they’ve got quite a varied menu with customer favourites like the Jasmine & Green Tea Footbath.
Visiting with friends? Then you can always consider their Friends Bring Benefits package which offers a relaxation massage, custom mani-pedi, glass of bubbly, and a healthy lunch!

H20 Float Studio
Let’s wrap up our list with a spa that you might just find yourself returning to over and over again! Now, treatment-wise, we admit that the H20 Float Studio only offers massages and access to the innovative float cabins but trust us when we say it’s more than enough to help you disconnect from your daily routine.
The float cabins provide complete sensory deprivation, making it all too easy for you to forget that the spa is smack dab in the middle of the buzzing Distillery District. You can book your float service as a couple or tandem experience.
The spa offers two types of floating experiences: the Ocean Float mimics the sounds of the ocean while the Rainforest Float (my favourite) lulls you into a harmonious state of relaxation as your pod is illuminated in a soothing green hue with the sounds of nature playing gently in the background.
Massage-wise, H20 Float Studio features Thai Massages, Shiatsu, or a combination of Thai and Relaxation massage.
- Address: 25 Mill St, Toronto, ON M5A 3R6, Canada
- Opening Hours: 9 a.m. to 11 p.m.
- Signature Treatments: Float Cabins
