Is there a better way to cool off on a hot summer’s day than enjoying one of the best water parks in Ontario? We think not!

As Canada’s most populated province, there are many awesome water parks in Ontario. These places have everything you need for a weatherproof family vacation: lazy rivers where you can float for hours, huge tube slides, massive wave pools for body surfing, picnic areas and even private cabanas for when you want some respite from the sun. Some of these spots are directly connected to full-fledged amusement parks too – perfect for crafting a day of thrills.

So without further ado, here are 9 of the best water parks in Ontario that offer fun activities for the whole family!

Fallsview Indoor Waterpark – Niagara Falls

Fallsview Indoor Waterpark Niagara Falls

A super fun water park with a massive indoor wave pool, proximity to the glorious Niagara Falls and no less than 16 thrilling slides? Uhm…yes, please! 

Well, that’s what you can expect from Fallsview Indoor Waterpark, which is directly connected to Falls Avenue Resort. With hot springs, an outdoor sundeck, a children’s playground and on-site restaurants, this park is all set out to deliver heaps of family-friendly activities. There’s even a tiny splash pad for the little ones. 

Non-hotel guests can also rent a private cabana if they’d like to spend the whole day at the park and have their own little area to relax in.

Calypso is one of the best water parks in Ontario.

Calypso Waterpark

Fun activities beckon at Calypso Waterpark, home of the largest wave pool in Canada! 

Located just a quick 20-minute drive from Ottawa, Calypso Waterpark features a lazy river, endless water games, 10 slides, numerous restaurants and even a VIP zone where you can chill in your own private cabana. 

Up for a challenge? Then be sure to check out the iconic Summit Tower which just so happens to be North America’s tallest waterslide tower!

Wet’n’Wild Toronto 

Wet’n’Wild is often said to be the largest and most exciting attraction in Toronto – and for good reason! 

Promising plenty of water park fun, Wet’n’Wild offers 45 acres of space, complete with large water slides, a sports complex, a water jungle gym and even a mini park for the kids. After enjoying the body slides, Krazy Kanuck and tube slides, you can always chill in a private cabana as well.

Great Wolf Lodge Niagara Falls has one of the best water parks in Ontario.

Located less than a 10-minute drive from Fallsview indoor waterpark, the Great Wolf Lodge Niagara Falls offers a great alternative for those who’d like to escape the notorious crowds that usually flock to more popular spots.

This place offers heaps of family fun since it’s got plenty of kid-friendly activities like their MagiQuest scavenger hunt and themed suites for those who’d like to spend the night. Known as one of the best indoor water parks in Canada, the Great Wolf Lodge also has hot tubs and thrilling slides that plummet down 40 feet!

Bingemans Big Splash Water Park, Ontario.

Bingemans Big Splash Water Park

Here’s one that’s perfect for thrill seekers!  As the biggest theme waterpark in Kitchener, Bingeman’s Big Splash sure packs a punch. In addition to 11 large water slides, the park also boasts a full-sized wave pool as well as a Spray N Play splash pad. 

While the park offers oodles of water features, you can also take advantage of other fun activities like escape rooms, bowling, mini putts, and on-site camping.

Wild Waterworks

Get ready to make some unforgettable memories with the whole family with a visit to the Wild Waterworks Waterpark, which just so happens to be the biggest outdoor water park in Ontario! 

Their full-sized wave pool is said to generate over five litres of heated water every 60 seconds, so you’re definitely in for one heck of a treat. There’s also a splash pad and 6 high-speed water slides. If you’re looking for something more laid-back, you can always kick back on their lazy river or in one of their private cabanas.

Splash Works is one of the best water parks in Ontario.

Splash Works 

If you’re looking for one of the best water parks in Ontario that consistently delivers a great time, be sure to check out Splash Works, located in Canada’s Wonderland. 

17 thrilling slides await, including the legendary 60-foot tall Muskoka Plunge! In addition to numerous water activities, you can also take advantage of the park’s numerous roller coasters and cliff jumping. In fact, Canada’s Wonderland is the best amusement park in the country! 

Oh, and did we mention that entry is free with admission to Canada’s Wonderland?

Lake Lisgar Waterpark

Located in Southwestern Ontario, Lake Lisgar is especially known for its accessible heated pool. The park’s also features a massive twister waterslide that delivers more than its fair share of thrills! 

With a freshly renovated bathhouse, the waterpark offers individual inflatable tubes, spray features, inflatable rafts, and non-aquatic features like a pirate-themed playground. Sprawling grassy areas are available as well if you’d like to soak up some rays.

East Park Water Park, Ontario.

East Park Water Park

It’s no secret that London’s got plenty going on! One of the most popular spots in the city is the East Park Water Park, known for its awesome indoor/outdoor features. 

You can take advantage of the park’s seven water slides, including high-speed, double tube, and mat slides. The park also boasts a wave pool with both deep and shallow water for the kids, a water climber, as well as a splash pad. 

Best of all, there’s even a Tiki Bar Patio where parents can relax with a drink while watching the kids.
